Riverdowns Dream'n Tonight

This is the good looking Appaloosa boy we call Snow. He is 16'1 hh and one hell of a lump of a boy. From the day he was born he showed the potential to excel and excel he has.

He has won National Queensland and New South Wales titles going Grand Champion Stallion or Colt on many occasions. He has Supremes at halter at National pre show and a number of Club and Agricultural Shows. He has never been beaten in 4 appearances at the Brisbane Royal Show going Champion Appaloosa Stallion on each occasion. While principally he has been breed and shown as a Halter Horse he was trained under saddle by Kyle Mobberley and Kerris Holzberger and in only three shows under saddle he won Qld State Championship 2yo snaffleTrail, 2nd Horsemanship and 3rd in Hunter under saddle and Western Pleasure and received High Point 2yo at BWBRAC Inc show winning 5 of his 7 classes.

Now that he has done it all he has retired to stud and has shown he can excel at that also.

In his first foal crop of 4 foals in 2003 (all well coloured I might add) Riverdowns Gun'n Tonight went Res Champion at the Australian National Appaloosa Titles held in Dubbo. Then Riverdowns Impres Tonight was Champion Gelding and Res Grand Jnr Gelding at the Queensland State Championships. A feat which he repeated this year as a yearling. Riverdowns Gun'n Tonight moved to Tasmania where he went on to win Champion 2003 Gelding at the Tasmanian State Championships.
Unfortunately in 2004 we only had 1 foal to Snow, a filly Riverdowns Shez All Style who got Res Champion Most Colourful at the Queensland State Titles 2005 as well as top 5 in her Halter class.

We are now awaiting 10 foals by Snow in 2005, 3 here at Riverdowns and seven others all up and down the east coast and Tasmania.

So far Snow has produced 100% colour from Appaloosa Mares as well as passing on his great confirmation.

We look forward to our breeding future with our great, much loved Stallion, Snow and have now also purchased a young Quarter Horse colt to supplement our breeding programme. He will be standing to a limited number of outside mares in 2006.
